Yogi Adityanath defies rally ban
Tribune News Service

Lucknow, September 10
Defying the district administration ban, Gorakhpur MP Yogi Adityanath addressed an election rally in Lucknow’s Munshipulia area this evening.

Hitting out at the Samajwadi Party government for communalising the election campaign by cancelling his elections meetings, the firebrand Hindutva leader spoke for 12 minutes from a makeshift stage on a Tata pickup at a busy crossing.

BJP state president Laxmikant Bajpai dared the Lucknow Administration to arrest the BJP leaders if it could. The administration had denied permission to the BJP for a rally yesterday as the SP had scheduled a rally nearby at the same time.
