10 Indian nurses reach Kochi from strife-torn Libya
Kochi, Aug 6 (ANI): Another batch of 10 Indian nurses from Libya arrived on Wednesday by a special flight, a day after 44 nurses reached Kochi from the strife- torn country. Apart from taking a slew of measures to facilitate the departure of Indians in Libya, which is witnessing increased violence, the
government has issued number of advisories asking the Indians to leave the conflict-hit country and not to travel there.

Veteran cartoonist Pran passes away at 75
New Delhi, Aug 6 (ANI): Veteran cartoonist and creator of the iconic
characters, like 'Chacha Chaudhary', 'Billu', 'Sabu', 'Pinki', Pran passed away today in New Delhi after reportedly suffering from cancer. His creations included unconventional yet beloved characters like 'Chacha Chaudhary' and 'Saboo' that captured the imagination of thousands of Indian children. The 75-year-old artist was one of India's best known cartoonists and also received a lifetime achievement award in 2001.
