Decision mutual, says Omar
Jammu, July 20
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said on Sunday he had not made public the “mutual decision” of the National Conference and the Congress not to go in for a pre-poll alliance in Jammu and Kashmir because he didn’t want to play the “game of one-upmanship”.

The government spent at least Rs 17.60 lakh on the oath-taking ceremony of PM Narendra Modi, an RTI reply has revealed. The reply provided by the President's secretariat said approximate cost incurred on the arrangements of the oath-taking ceremony, attended by 4,017 guests, related to tentage, stage, furniture and other allied items was Rs 17.6 lakhs.
