Sumitra Mahajan to be LS Speaker
New Delhi, June 5
Sumitra Mahajan, one of the BJP's most experienced parliamentarians, is all set to be the Speaker of the 16th Lok Sabha. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu confirmed this saying that senior leaders from all parties, including the Prime Minister and Leader of Congress in the Lok Sabha, moved motions proposing her name.
