Alia Bhatt is the girl on the go. She was adored as Shanaya Singhania, praised as Veera Tripathi and her Ananya Swaminathan act has already garnered some five million plus views on
youtube. Young and fresh, this refreshingly pretty girl is out to grab her fair share under the sun and totally unapologetic about it. In Chandigarh on Wednesday, Alia Bhatt talked about her films and more.
In 2 States, Alia plays a Tamil Brahmin— a Tam Bram to be specific, not just any South Indian. The film was challenging and interestingly it was not the language that was the trouble for this young actor.

No negativity
It's been a usual journey to recognition, where theatre studies gave way to music videos, directorial stints and brief cameos to much better things. What brought him to the limelight like never before was a prime time soap opera. Uttaran's infamous Sid, played by Sharhaan Singh, has cast a shadow that refuses to go.
"I have somehow made that negative image, though now I'd like to break away from it…Somehow they think I can play negative shades better," he shares, while in Chandigarh, a day before the release of his upcoming Punjabi film Mr and Mrs 420.
