Employees’ demands: Haryana forms 2 panels

Chandigarh, January 24
The Haryana Government has set up two committees to look into the demands of employees’ unions.

This was announced was Chief Secretary SC Choudhary who met members of the employees’ coordination panel today. “While one committee would focus on implementation of labour laws and regularisation of contractual employees, the other would look into power department issues,” he said.

The representatives of employees union have also been included in the two panels. “These committees would submit reports at the earliest and would meet on February 1 for further discussion. The next meeting between the government and employees’ representatives would take place on February 15,” he said.
