India’s Foreign Secretary tells US to treat their envoys on par with American diplomats
New Delhi, Dec 21 (ANI): Following the arrest and strip search of Indian diplomat Devyani Khobragade in America last week, India’s Foreign Secretary Sujatha Singh said that the US should treat Indian diplomats the way they take care of diplomats from America and other countries.

 


Hyderabad police books Salman, Bigg Boss producers for hurting Muslim sentiments 
Hyderabad, Dec 21 (ANI): The Andhra Pradesh police filed a complaint against controversial reality show 'Bigg Boss 7' and its host, Bollywood megastar Salman Khan for hurting religious sentiments of Muslims.Mohammed Fasihuddin, a Muslim, lodged a First Information Report (FIR) in Hyderabad after watching the show, which has already been in a number of controversies since its commencement on September 15.


CPI targets Maharashtra govt over Adarsh Commission report
New Delhi, Dec 21 (ANI): Reacting over the Maharashtra cabinet rejecting the report of a judicial commission on the Adarsh housing scam, senior CPI leader Gurudas Dasgupta said that it is unfortunate and the enquiry report based on objective facts cannot be rejected.


India, Venezuela strengthen energy cooperation
New Delhi, Dec 21 (ANI): India and Venezuela pledged to tighten cooperation ties in the fields of energy, healthcare, culture, technology, oil and natural gas, as foreign ministers from both the nations met in New Delhi.
