AAP sting operation: Opposition condemns party, demands action New Delhi/ Bhopal, Nov 22 (ANI): After a sting operation carried on by a media portal claimed Aam Aadmi Party’s leaders involvement in “raising funds through illegal means” the opposition, Congress and BJP condemned the party. Congress Delhi Committee President JP Agarwal said that a party with no history does things like these and that strict action should be taken against it. Meanwhile, BJP senior leader Arun Jaitley said that is AAP has set some standards in public, they should better stand by the same instead of stooping so low like this.
Omar Abdullah lashes out at separatist leaders for meeting Pakistan envoy Jammu & Kashmir, Nov 22 (ANI): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah lashed out at separatists for meeting advisor to Pakistan Prime Minister on security and foreign affairs, Sartaj Aziz, during his visit to New Delhi. Abdullah said the separatist leaders didn’t have any agenda to discuss. Aziz met the Kashmir separatist leaders on November 10 while on his visit to New Delhi for Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM). Abdullah also said that Kashmir’s enemies lie within the state.
Did not 'delay' action after sexual assault complaint: Shoma Chaudhry New Delhi, Nov 22 (ANI): Tehelka's Managing Editor Shoma Chaudhury on Friday denied Tehelka's 'delayed' action on the sexual assault complaint against the Magazine's Editor-in-Chief Tarun Tejpal. Shoma further said that within three days, she had made Tejpal apologize after which he had stepped down and even had constituted a committee of inquiry.
