Braving odds, a minor Class VIII girl today narrated the horrifying tale of how she was raped twice and her plea for registration of a police case fell on deaf ears.

On his part, DSP Satish Kumar said soon after receiving a complaint, a case was registered today and two alleged accused Naveen and Monu had been arrested.

The girl, hailing from Raipur village in Sonepat district, was allegedly gang raped by three accused for more than two months. They not only beat up and threatened her but also prepared a film to exploit her later.

When the police at the area chowki showed reluctance to register a case on her complaint, the victim along with her father reached Sonepat today and narrated their tale of horror to the media persons. They said the accused threatened them with dire consequences if the matter was reported to the police.

Had the police acted after the first rape, the victim could have been saved from the agony of being abused again, said the victim’s father.

He alleged that his daughter was allegedly kidnapped by the accused while she was going to school on September 28. She was gang raped by Vikas and Monu in Sectors 5 and 6. She was allegedly beaten up and a video clip was also prepared.

This was not the end. He alleged that she was kidnapped again on October 28 by the accused and gang raped again. She was administered some intoxicant and was put in a Delhi-bound train. However, she was recovered by Delhi police.
