Health and Family Welfare Minister, Punjab, Madan Mohan Mittal said strict action would be taken against the Punjab Civil Medical Service (PCMS) doctors who were engaged in private practice as law prohibits them from doing so.

Youth shot at during clash

A youth was shot at in the stomach by a pistal following a clash in the Daresi area on Friday.
The police registered a case yesterday when a .2mm bullet was found stuck in the abdomen of the victim identified as Ravi, a resident of Killa Mohalla. The victim told the police that during a quarrel he was shot at and returned home.
24-year-old man stabbed, injured
