BJP terms govt as pro-terrorist, says they need treatment
New Delhi, July 06 (ANI): After the CBI filed the first chargesheet in Ishrat Jahan Encounter case, BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, slamming the Congress on their claims of Ishrat being innocent, said on Saturday that Congress is possessed by the spirits of terrorists and they should get treated for the same. He also said that these people who are attaching caste or creed with the terrorism are weakening the fight against it.



Election manifestoes cannot be brought under model code of conduct: SP
New Delhi, July 06 (ANI): After the Supreme Court asked the Election Commission to frame guidelines to restrain political parties from promising freebies to voters in their election manifestoes, Samajwadi party leader Ram Gopal Yadav on Saturday said that election manifestoes made by political parties cannot be brought under any model code of conduct.



Newborn girl found buried alive in forest, dies at hospital
Indore, July 06 (ANI): In a horrifying incident of female infanticide, a newborn baby girl was buried alive soon after her birth at Indore in Madhya Pradesh. The baby girl died due to heavy bleeding from her nose and mouth soon after being taken out from the spot. The doctors sent the baby’s body for post mortem and are waiting for the report so that the full details of the cause of her death can be ascertained.



People angry with attacks on security forces by Naxals
Ranchi, July 06 (ANI): The people showed their anger against attacks on security forces by burning effigies of Naxals. They condemned the July 2 attack on a police convoy which killed six policemen, including SP of Pakur, Amarjit Balihar, near Dumka district of Jharkhand. Balihar was on the radar of Naxals ever since he was posted at Pakur due to his tough stand against them. The people are furious with the attack and accuse Naxals of extortion and terrorism.
