Department invites applications from teachers seeking transfers

The Education Department, Chandigarh, has invited applications from government schoolteachers who seek transfers. As per the recent communication, circulated in all the districts, the teachers who have been staying at a district for the past two years or more and seek transfer to some other place can apply to the District Education Officer by July 20.

Patwaris postpone stir against SSP (Vigilance)

Sonam bags second position in PU exams
Ludhiana: Sonam Mehta has made the Khalsa College for Women proud by bagging the second position in BSC-III (biotechnology) exams conducted by Panjab University, Chandigarh. Sonam had clinched the second position last year as well. Sonam thanked the college principal and staff for their support and encouragement.
