India blasts off first navigational satellite
Sriharikota, July 02 (ANI): India successfully launched its first navigational satellite that will provide terrestrial, aerial and marine navigation services, from a space station in Andhra Pradesh.Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) blasted off the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle, PSLV- C22, carrying the Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System (IRNSS-1A) from Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota island of Andhra Pradesh at 11.41 pm (local time).
