Harbhajan in ITBP camp

Dehradun: Cricketer Harbhajan Singh is among the pilgrims and tourists who have been stranded in the upper reaches of Uttarakhand due to landslides and heavy rain. The cricketer is now staying put in an ITBP camp at Joshimath that houses the paramilitary’s first battalion.

He had to take shelter with the border-guarding troops yesterday while returning from Hemkunt Sahib gurdwara as the weather turned inclement, a senior official said.

The bowler is now spending time interacting with ITBP jawans and playing badminton with them, he added. — PTI
