25 Maoists surrender in Visakhapatnam Vishakhapatnam, April 23 (ANI): Under police rehabilitation programme, 25 Maoists and their sympathizers surrendered in Vishakapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh. Police claimed that these sympathisers were involved in several illegal activities and assisted Maoists in their operations. Referring to the mass surrender as an outcome of a police rehabilitation programme, director general of police, Swati Lakada, said that 25 Maoists surrendered before Vishakhapatnam police.
