FM hits at main opposition over resolution against Sri Lanka

(BJP) supported the resolution against Sri Lanka in the parliament, other than the Congress Party. Addressing an event in
Chennai, Chidambaram boasted of the Congress Party’s commitment to raise voice against the 2009 genocide by Sri Lanka.

SC relief for Amit Shah in fake encounters case
The Supreme Court on Monday relieved former Gujarat home minister Amit Shah in connection with two infamous fake encounter cases. Shah was arrested for using his office as Home Minister to conspire with the state police for the murders of Sohrabuddin Sheikh and Tulsiram Prajapati. Both men were killed in alleged fake encounters.
