Structures razed at Raipur Kalan

City-Ludhiana rail link inspection from April 13

The Chandigarh-Ludhiana 55 km rail link will be inspected by the Chief Commissioner of Rail Safety (CCRS) from April 13 to 15. The inspection team will be led by the Northern circle CCRS, RK Kardam. Panjab varsity to outsource civic work

The Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh, today gave its consent to provide civic services to Panjab University (PU) on a job work basis. The decision came after PU Vice-Chancellor Arun Grover met Chandigarh Mayor Subhash Chawla earlier this week to seek the services of the MC for many of its civic problems. The university has failed to address these issues due to staff crunch.
