North India shivers

Cold wave gripped North India as mercury dipped in most parts of the region Saturday. In Delhi, the minimum temperature settled two notches below normal at 6.2°C.

Narnaul coldest

In Punjab and Haryana, night temperatures continued to drop, with Narnaul in Haryana recording 3.5 degrees. Ludhiana with 5.8°C was coldest place in Punjab.

Sub-zero in Valley

In Jammu and Kashmir, temperature remained below freezing point in most parts of the state, with the mercury in capital Srinagar recording minus 3.4°C.
