In the absence of Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal, who are overseas these days, the state-level 27th death anniversary function of Sant Harchand Singh Longowal remained a lacklustre affair today. Ajay Yadav takes on Hooda again
Chandigarh, August 20
After months of ceasefire, fresh trouble has erupted on the Bhupinder Singh Hooda-Ajay Singh Yadav front, with the seven-time MLA from Rewari firing a volley of salvos at the Chief Minister, that too while addressing party workers.
Relations between the CM and the Power Minister have reached a new low. So much so that Yadav has abruptly cancelled the rally, which Hooda was scheduled to address in the minister’s Assembly constituency of Rewari on September 1. 



Maruti plant to reopen today
Gurgaon, August 20
After a month-long lockout, Maruti Suzuki India will reopen its Manesar facility on Tuesday. The plant will resume operations with only one tenth of its total workforce which will operate for one shift from 8 am to 4.30 pm.
The initial production has been targeted at 150 cars per day instead of 1,500-1,700 units being produced earlier. “We are making a fresh start with the best available resources and will have a realistic production target.
