Jayalalithaa drops Revenue Minister from Cabinet

Chennai, July 18
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa today dropped Revenue Minister KA Sengottaiyan from her Council of Ministers. A Raj Bhawan communique said Sengottaiyan was dropped on a recommendation from the Chief Minister.

Thoppu ND Venkatachalam, representing the Perundurai constituency, will replace Sengottaiyan.
The swearing-in of the new minister would take place tomorrow at Raj Bhawan, the release said. — PTI
