Global cooperation must to fight graft: CBI

New Delhi, February 18
The CBI has stressed the need for strengthening international cooperation to fight corruption.

Addressing the participants at a Valedictory Session of the First Interpol Global Programme on Anti-Corruption and Asset Recovery yesterday, CBI Director Amar Pratap Singh said the international law enforcement agencies need to engage at all levels to effectively deal with corrupt practices.

He said the fight against corruption was incomplete unless illegal assets and wealth amassed by corrupt persons were recovered.
