Every person has a sense of style. Yet there are only a few who’d attract second glances, who have the power to make the camera go zoom on them. It could be tousled hair, it could be torn jeans. This week’s face in the crowd, Riya Sood, a graduate from MCM DAV College, is all about comfort meets experimentation, when it comes to her clothes and colours.

Friendly tale
Saqib Saleem, the lead from Mujhse Fraandship Karoge, who comes from Delhi has a pretty interesting story about how he got into the film business. This talented dude is from Delhi, where his dad runs a successful restaurant business called Salleel’s with almost fourteen outlets. He was never the studious type, so he assisted his father for almost eight months. Very soon, he got tired of all the food around him and realised he wanted to act. His dad told him to take a year off and give acting a serious chance.

The true entertainer
Saba Azad’s character in Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge, Preity, aspires to become a photographer but in real life, she is a vocalist. She has crooned for bands like Blackstratblues and Ashu and The Petridish Project. But this talent of hers was exploited in the film. The crew ensured that she was made to sing on set all the time and entertain everyone around her. She said it felt like she was playing antakshari with herself.
