Varsity Academic Council to take final decision
Dehradun, September 28 A meeting was held between the college Principal, Devender Bhasin, and the Vice-Chancellor of the university at Srinagar (Garhwal) yesterday, where it was decided that the final decision on declaring the pending results of 2,500 students would be taken by the Academic Council of the university. “Although the decision on the matter has already been taken by the VC, the issue has been forwarded to the examination committee of the university for some modification, which will finally get the approval from the academic council,” he added. Bhasin further said examination forms for this academic session would be made available in October and the last date of their submission would also be fixed by the university to avoid any confusion. The university has asked students and the college authorities to be cautious while filling the forms to avoid any mistake in marksheets. The results of 2,500 students of DAV PG College, Dehradun, are yet to be declared by the university owing to the late submission of the examination forms, which were later rejected by the university. However, the students alleged that the university authorities had themselves directed the college administration to issue handwritten roll number cards to the students and check their answersheets. |
