(L-R) Sanjana Jon, Neeru Bajwa and Arjan Bajwa Fashion-ABLE
We have it all, well almost - cinema, which is graduating from better to the best, food with unmatched taste, which is famous across the globe, flourishing businesses in every district… Punjab has it all. The only thing we are probably trailing in is fashion. Although there is no match to the elegant Patiala salwar kameez, Punjab needs a trendy dope on fashion. And bringing it to the state is the second season of Blenders Pride Punjab International Fashion Week, which is to be held soon. Actor Neeru Bajwa, Arjan Bajwa, brand ambassador for the event, and designer Sanjana Jon talk about Punjab getting fashionable.

IT’S A BEAUTIFUL DAY
Make a splash!
How about some thrill, adventure and entertainment this weekend? Soak in the falls or showers or take a 50-feet slide to land in a whirlpool. Before the winter sets in, and the season is closer than it seems, we suggest a day of water adventure. Some 45 minutes on the Barwala road from Chandigarh is Funcity, one of the first and the largest theme parks of the region. This park has six landing pools, one activity pool, one wave pool and 18 water slides of different sizes and shapes, including a few small ones for children.

Sonu Gandhi Bride & beautiful
Sonu Gandhi, the fashion designer from Ludhiana, is giving a new definition to Punjabi designs by showcasing her works at the Punjab International Fashion Week. And that's what brought her to Chandigarh on Thursday at Tao-26 for the model hunt auditions.

Although it's still hot, the fashion-conscious have already started planning their wardrobes for the coming winter. And one of the key ingredients to make a wardrobe complete is footwear. Most of the fashion designers have already created and presented their footwear collections for fall/winter 2011/2012 and the trends are quite diverse.

In a not-so-smart move, the makers of Tell Me Oh Khuda starring Esha Deol and others are releasing the movie alongside Shah Rukh Khan's Ra.One this Diwali. Even Himesh Reshammiya is releasing his film on that day. Hema Malini, who is directing the film, feels people tend to watch more movies in Diwali than on regular days.
