Health dept doubts reliability of dengue spot tests

Cases of dengue fever are being reported in various private hospitals and clinics in the city, but the figures provided by them are always at variance with those trotted out by district health officials, who assert the tests conducted by them are in accordance with the guidelines laid down by the Indian government. However, on their part the private hospitals claim their spot tests are equally reliable.
