No matter how many apples you eat a day, there would be times when you just can’t keep them away! This sounds poetic, but you can hardly imagine them to be one. At a given day, they would come across as the most unaffected people, oblivious of the world coming down. Doctors…temperature, blood pressure, haemoglobin, bilirubin, their world revolves around a few selected words from the dictionary.

Contrary to the general perception that doctors don’t have fun, which by the way is correct, he has his own idea of fun. His meaning of fun would be a little different from others though.

Doctor’s Day is celebrated on July 1 all across India to honour the legendary physician and the second Chief Minister of West Bengal, Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy. He was born on July 1, 1882 and died on the same date in 1962, aged 80 years.
