Police officials worried about their health

Yesterday’s incident of a cop suffering a heart attack has left several police officials worried about their health.
“This has been the third incident of this kind since January and the second in the past six days. Many of us have started worrying about our health, seeing the high level of stress and the long hours and erratic schedule of duties,” said an inspector.

Tenure ends but not deputation in MC

It seems that after sending officials to the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation (MC) on deputation, the UT Administration has conveniently forgotten to call them back even after expiry of their term. The classic examples of this are the two employees of the UT Administration whose tenure expired in September last year, but the administration has not ordered for their repatriation till date.
