Big B to be a permanent fixture at Hong Kong Tussauds

Mumbai, March 25
Madame Tussauds Hong Kong today unveiled its first ever permanent Bollywood wax figure -- Amitabh Bachchan, according to a statement released here. Kelly Mak, general manager of Madame Tussauds Hong Kong, said, “There are more and more Indian visitors taking the star-studded journey through Madame Tussauds Hong Kong. Giving company to Bachchan is another top Asian star Moses Chan at the Hall of Fame at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong.

Special guest, best TV actor Moses Chan, dressed in an enthralling red-carpet-style black suit, joined Kelly Mak and a group of professional Bollywood dancers to unveil Amitabh’s wax figure. The ceremony kicked off with a Bollywood dance performance. Amitabh’s wax figure will be displayed against an exquisite Indian facade adorned with light bulbs. Guests will enjoy a theatre-style lighting show inspired by Amitabh’s movie “Aladin”. The wax figure will be permanently displayed in the World Premiere zone at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong.
