New Delhi, February 7
In yet another attempt to delay the probe into the Mumbai attacks, Islamabad has refused permission to the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to visit the neighbouring country to interrogate the plotters of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.

India was informed in a communiqué by Islamabad that the laws of Pakistan did not permit a probe by any foreign agency, official sources said.

Islamabad’s refusal came even as the foreign secretaries of India and Pakistan were discussing in Thimphu ways to revive the stalled dialogue process.
