Vivek Bhasin Having taken the world cuisine by storm, pizza and pasta are used by restaurateurs as a sure shot bait for consumers. Second-best-liked cuisine after Chinese, Italian khana, especially pizza, is immensely popular in our country. Thanks to the (far-fetched) resemblance to our humble roti (the only difference being we eat the roti with a vegetable and they top it on), pizza has become a staple in every household, especially with the younger lot.

'Music is universal'
Music is like food. If we don't explore it, we can never understand it," says Shashank Subramanyam, renowned flute player, who is in the city for a show organised by SPIC MACAY. Even though his specialisation is in South Indian music, he also experiments with fusion music. "South Indian and North Indian music are same. The only difference is in the presentation," he says.
