CBI registers FIR after hackers deface its website

New Delhi, December 4
A day after its website was hacked by a group that identified itself as “Pakistani Cyber Army”, the CBI today registered a case under various sections of the Information technology Act against the unidentified accused even as its website remained inaccessible.

A CBI official said they were working to restore the website for public interface at the earliest. He said their website was hacked and defaced last night by a group of hackers and their Cyber Crime Cell had registered a case.
