I've been enemy No.1 for BCCI for long: Modi
Lalit Modi, the suspended Commissioner of the Indian Premier League, on Saturday ridiculed the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), saying that he has been their public enemy number one. The BCCI slapped second show-cause notice on Modi for allegedly planning a rebel Twenty20 league in England. He was suspended as IPL commissioner following allegations of financial irregularities.

Explosives seized from Amritsar, Nagpur
Nearly two kilogram of RDX (Research Developed Explosive) 80 gelatine sticks and detonators were recovered from two of India cities on Saturday. In the first incident, at Amritsar city of Punjab, the explosive was found in a white coloured Maruti 800 car bearing registration number of Delhi near the office of District Congress Committee.

Mother of Nirupama Pathak released on parole
Subha Pathak, mother of the slain journalist Nirupama Pathak,
has been released on parole to attend the last rites of her daughter at Jhumritilaya
home. The local court's decision came following a petition filed by Subha on May 7,seeking permission to attend the shradh of her
daughter.
