In a significant development, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao today telephoned Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to exchange views on the Copenhagen Climate Change summit. Wen discussed with Manmohan Singh various issues connected with the summit, official sources said.
The two leaders agreed that the two sides would remain in touch on the Copenhagen meet. They also discussed issues of bilateral interest, they added.
The telephonic conversation clearly reflected the personal rapport between the two leaders, notwithstanding recent sharp exchanges between their two nations on the complex border issue.
