CBI raids Sarabjot’s house, pistols seized
New Delhi, August 1
The CBI conducted a search at the residence of Sarabjot Singh, alias Sweety Singh, son of Chairman of the National Commission for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Buta Singh, and seized three unlicensed pistols and 38 cartridges today, sources said.

Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Jalandhar-I, Rajinder Pratap Singh, invoking the Maintenance of Parents and Senior Citizens Welfatre Act, 2007, adopted by the Punjab government in July 2008, has ordered a person to give Rs 10,000 a month maintenance to his mother.
