Chandigarh, December 1
The Monday night was different. For, it wore
a perfect smile. As the sky beamed with joy, a celestial wonder — a crescent Moon with the Venus and the Jupiter appearing in form of a triangle, almost at right angles to each other — left the astro-scientists an excited lot.

Registration of pets
It is a good news that the municipal committee has made up its mind to introduce the scheme for the registration of pets in Chandigarh. It should not waste time in implementing the scheme. I may add that as a majority of pet owners are from well to do families, they will not agree that such schemes should come into operation and would fight tooth and nail for scrapping the scheme. The scheme should be implemented in the right spirit and strict action should be taken against
defaulters.
