CBI seeks 10-day remand for Delhi-based hotelier
Chandigarh, September 23
Referring to the controversial case of delivery of Rs 15 lakh at judge’s door as “judicial terrorism”, the CBI’s special public prosecutor (SPP) B.P. Singh today sought a 10-day police remand for Ravinder Singh. Ravinder Singh, who had surrendered on September 18, was today remanded to CBI custody till September 27.

Youth beaten up, dies

Ravi, a 27-year-old photographer of Dasmesh Nagar, Nayagaon, died here this evening. The victim had injury marks all over his body and was taken to the Sector 16 general hospital, Chandigarh, where he was declared brought dead.
