Team India pacer S. Sreesanth finds himself embroiled in a controversy yet again. The fast bowler, known for his on-field theatrics, was involved in an altercation with the staff of the Grand Ashoka hotel in Bangalore this morning over faulty air-conditioning in the room he was occupying. The hotel staff, when contacted by The Tribune, confirmed that the incident took place but refused to share details.
It was, however, learnt reliably that the cricketer got into a heated argument with the hotel management in the middle of the night over a noisy air-conditioner.
Irked by the persistent noise Sreesanth reportedly insisted on shifting to another room. However, the hotel staff requested Sreesanth to wait for some time
as another room was not immediately available. This infuriated the cricketer and he threatened that he would leave the hotel.
The argument that commenced late on Sunday was finally resolved on Monday morning with the management succeeding in pacifing Sreesanth.
Sreesanth, who is in Bangalore for a fitness programme, has not spoken publicly about the incident, choosing rather to retire to his room and put up a “Do not disturb” sign at the door.
