Muddy roads nightmare for motorists

Woman dies in hospital, kin allege negligence
Doctor booked following protests
Ambala, June 15
The agitated relatives of a woman who died here today protested against the negligent attitude of a doctor of Mission Hospital at Ambala City. On the complaint of a relative of the deceased, the police registered a case of negligence against the doctor at Baldev Nagar police station.

Man commits suicide

Nanhe Khan (47), a resident of Azad Nagar Colony in Balongi area, committed suicide today by hanging himself from the hook meant for ceiling fan.

One killed, 3 hurt in accidents
Kharar, June 15
Rudak Kumar died after a Sumo ran over him near Balongi sales tax barrier last night. At around 11 pm, Rudak, a native of Gurakhpur, who was residing at Badhmajra, was returning home from work when the vehicle ran over him. He was killed on the spot. The driver of the Sumo stopped the vehicle at the divider at NH 21, locked the car and fled.

Under debt, man commits suicide

Vendors do brisk business in Sector 17 piazza, Chandigarh. On weekends when babus of the municipal corporation stay home, the Sector 17 piazza is brimful of encroachers. For those who have seen the encroached narrow streets of Delhi’s Chandani Chowk, Janpath or Karol Bagh, the otherwise serene piazza area looks no different. Hundreds of encroachers occupy every inch of the available space, as shoppers rub shoulders to find their way.
