Badal, Bhattal console fire-hit families

Rescue workers pull out the body of 65-year-old labourer Surjan Singh, who died after he fell into a 30-ft-deep well at Jahlan village, 7 km from PatialaPatiala, May 3
The body of a 65-year-old labourer was recovered from a 35-ft-deep well at Jahla village, near here, after he accidentally fell into it. He remained buried there for more than six hours. The labourer, Surjan Singh, was working to install a submersible pump in the well, which was being dug up for a tubewell.
