LS approves Central rule in Nagaland New Delhi, February 26 Tabling the resolution, minister of state for home affairs Sriprakash Jaiswal said the tenure of the Nagaland Assembly, which was kept under suspended animation while the DAN government was dismissed, is slated to expire on March 13. Elections are slated for March 5 and the results would be declared three days later. “So it is important for this House to approve this resolution,” he told the Lok Sabha. Earlier, Jaiswal tabled a similar resolution in the Rajya Sabha, which will take it up for discussion tomorrow. — PTI |
