Tax evasion worth lakhs in sale of hosiery goods

Tax evasion to the tune of lakhs of rupees came to light when officials of the Excise and Taxation Department here captured hosiery goods at the local railway station being sent by a railway booking agency using wrong Tax Identification Numbers (TIN) today.
