Pranab: China endorses Indo-US nuclear deal
Pranab Mukherjee New Delhi, November 26
External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee today said China had endorsed the Indo-US nuclear deal. The minister also indicated that India would accept any nuclear deal between Pakistan and China as “the ground reality” and that India would not have serious objections about it.

India to streamline visa process for Pakistanis

India has taken steps to streamline visa procedures for Pakistanis and will possibly increase their issuance from the current level of 8000 a month.

On the Law Day function a confrontation was witnessed between the Supreme Court Bar and the judiciary and the government, with the Centre rejecting the demand for inclusion of non-judicial member in the proposed national judicial council (NJC) to probe judges’ misconduct.

Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri, who is here on a private visit, was surprised this evening as he was stopped in his hotel lobby by Ms Dalbir Kaur, sister of Sarabjit Singh, the Indian currently on death row in a Pakistani jail.
