up Shimla
Shimla: The Himachal Government has drawn up a Rs 3,900- crore development plan for Shimla, for infrastructure and facelift to the town. State Chief Secretary S.S. Parmar, presiding over a meeting of senior officers here today, said under the plan infrastructure such as bus terminals, parking lots, underground tunnels, shopping complexes and water supply systems would be built. The project requires huge investment for which financing companies had to play a role, he said, adding that private players had key role in harnessing the tourism potential of the state.
