Bharti, of committing contempt of court by not stopping development works in some areas of the Assembly segment, despite these having been stopped by the Punjab and Haryana High Court.

Chaos continues to rule Division No. 3 chowk, the most congested point in the old city, owing to nonfunctional traffic lights, installed at an exorbitant cost over 10 years ago. ‘Jung-Ay-Azadi’ was conducted at BCM School, Dugri, here today to
commemmorate the sacrifices of those courageous freedom fighters. The
four teams that participated were Azadi Ka Parwane, Azad-e-Hind,
Shaheed-e-Azam and Elan-e-Jung stepped into the arena with collages
prepared by them on the theme. Each team was also given a minute for
presentation.
