Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have been reported at at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Masani Barrage 9; Himachal Pradesh: Ghamroor 1; Jammu and Kashmir: Katra 4; East Rajasthan: Ajmer 1; West Rajasthan: Barmer 3; East Uttar Pradesh: Phaphamau 3, Gazipur, Mirzapur and Varanasi City 2; and West Uttar Pradesh: Agra 1.

Forecast valid until the morning of August 1: Rain/thundershowers are likely at many places in Himachal Pradesh, South Rajasthan, East Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at a few places in the rest of the region.

Heavy rainfall warning: Isolated heavy rain is likely in Himachal Pradesh, South Rajasthan, East Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal during next 48 hours.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of August 1: Generally cloudy sky with possibility of rain/thundershowers in some areas.

Farmers’ weather bulletin for Delhi: forecast valid until the morning of August 1: Light rain is likely at a few places.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: No large change.
