Rodrigues for panel on periphery’s development
Chandigarh, July 17
The Punjab Governor and UT Administrator, Gen S.F. Rodrigues (retd), today called for instituting a high-level committee of Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh to ensure effective coordination for the harmonious development of the periphery of Chandigarh and to achieve a sustainable process of urban transformation by balancing social, economic and environmental goals.

No headway in murder case

Even as five days have passed since the murder of an elderly couple, Narsingh and his wife Mohinder Kaur, in their house in Khangesra village near Barwala was reported, the district police has failed to make any headway in the case.

Property dealers hold emergency meeting

Woman suffers burn injuries
