Bank premises inaugurated: Mr I.D. Singh, General Manager, Punjab National Bank, Punjab (South) Zone, inaugurated the new premises of the bank’s branch at Sunder Nagar here on
Friday. He said to attract students the bank has tailor made a product named PNB Vidyarthi Savings Account.
School reopens: Nirdosh School for mentally challenged children run by the Inner Wheel Club of Ludhiana opened here on Friday after the summer break. Ms Rekha Munjal, the chairperson, Ms M. Jain, Ms S.Khanna, co- chairpersons were present to welcome the children. Ms and Mr Dinesh Dandonna and Ms Saroj Dandonna were the chief
guests. They were moved and impressed by teaching and handling of mentally challenged children there and lauded the efforts. They also donated for the welfare of these children.
