Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Uttaranchal. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cms are; Uttaranchal: Dehra Dun 1.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures rose in west Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere.

Departure: This was appreciably above normal in east Rajasthan, above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, west Rajasthan, above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, west Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 45°C recorded at Barmer (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of June 25: Rain/thundershowers are likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of June 25: Partly cloudy sky with possibility of light rain/thundery development accompanied with squall in some areas. The maximum temperature will be around 40°C.
