Additional DA for HP staff

Shimla, June 23
The Himachal Government today released another instalment of dearness allowance to its employee which became due from January, 2006.

The additional dearness allowance will be paid in cash from July, 2006, and the arrears from January to June will be credited in the provident fund of the employees.

The birthday gift from Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, who turned 72 today, will put an additional burden of Rs 4.5 crore on the state exchequer annually. — TNS
