The government tonight agreed to examine the students demand to set up an expert committee to review the reservation policy. The students, however, are not satisfied with the government’s half-baked proposals on the issue handed over to them by Union Minister Oscar Fernandes and have decided not to call off their fortnight-long agitation. Ramdev security breach: police in the dark

The Hamirpur police is working on various theories to establish the designs of an imposter, Gaurav, who sneaked into the inner security ring around Swami Ramdev.
Incidentally, a local court in Hamirpur today remanded the imposter in four days of police custody after state counsel said his custody was essential to arrive at the truth.

Only 39 of 3,800 clear HCS (Judicial) examination

Just 39 out of 3800 candidates have cleared the written test for the Haryana Civil Service (Judicial). The result seems all the more dismal when compared to the fact that for a candidate to clear the written test, all that was required was to secure just 50 per cent marks.
